About Small Steps
This twice-a-week class offers our youngest children the perfect opportunity to explore and interact in a safe and nurturing environment.
Through engaging activities involving art, table exercises, and music, children will be introduced to essential concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. The class is designed to encourage and guide children in making choices that promote confidence and age-appropriate behavior, while also helping them learn and adapt to classroom routines.
This program creates a fun and supportive space where children can develop foundational skills and build the confidence needed for their educational journey ahead.

About Preschool
Preschool is a specially designed program aimed at preparing children for Pre-Kindergarten by fostering a love for learning and building foundational skills.
In this enriching environment, children will develop essential skills in handwriting, letters, and mathematics. They will engage in a variety of activities, rotating through interactive learning centers, where they can socialize and play with classmates. Throughout the year, they will explore engaging themes such as shapes, sizes, seasons, senses, and community helpers.
Children will also be introduced to basic concepts like same and different, opposites, positional words, rhyming, and sequencing. Each letter of the alphabet will be covered, with emphasis on letter names, sounds, and writing both uppercase and lowercase forms. Additionally, the program will nurture both fine and gross motor skills as children navigate the classroom and participate in hands-on activities.

About Pre-Kindergarten
PreKindergarten (PreK) is a preparatory class thoughtfully designed to equip children with the skills and confidence needed for Kindergarten.
The curriculum focuses on developing essential pre-reading, pre-math, and emergent writing skills, utilizing the acclaimed Handwriting Without Tears program. This approach ensures that children learn in a structured yet enjoyable manner. To enhance sensory and fine motor skills, the program consistently incorporates games and hands-on activities, fostering a tactile and interactive learning environment.
Throughout the school day, children will have numerous opportunities to engage in music, dramatic play, art, and storytelling. These activities not only support cognitive and creative development but also encourage social interaction and emotional expression. By blending academic and creative pursuits, our PreK class creates a holistic and stimulating educational experience that prepares children for the next step in their academic journey.

PreK Plus
The PreK Plus program is designed to thoroughly prepare students for Kindergarten, offering a comprehensive approach to early childhood education.
In this program, children will acquire foundational academic skills in reading, handwriting, and mathematics. The curriculum is enriched with activities that develop social skills through art projects, learning centers, and creative projects, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
Specific skills introduced include identifying and writing both uppercase and lowercase letters, reading word families, and recognizing sight words. In mathematics, children will learn number recognition, addition, subtraction, skip counting, graphing, and identifying coins.
By integrating these academic and social skills, the PreK Plus program ensures that students are well-prepared and confident as they transition to Kindergarten.

Stepping Stones (5’s)

Stepping Stones
The Stepping Stones class is designed for the oldest children who either do not meet the cutoff date for Kindergarten or are not yet ready socially or emotionally. The curriculum includes phonetic instruction of the alphabet, beginning and ending sounds, language arts, math, handwriting, art, and fine and gross motor skills. Emphasis is placed on addressing each child’s strengths and weaknesses while fostering a greater sense of responsibility and independence.
- Must be 5 by December 31st
- Class meets 5 days per week
- Class is in the A.M.
- 9am – 11:30am
